Description
Founded in 1885, Bianchi is the oldest Italian bike manufacturer. This Bianchi Rekord 845 appeared in the 1983 catalogue as sports bike for the ambitious amateur who needed a reliable and long lasting machine which was stable enough for everyday training but fast enough for occasional races.
To make their bikes more affordable, Bianchi tried new combinations of frames and groupsets. In the case a strong variety of Columbus tubes which was called "Bianchi Formula Two" and a Shimano 105 Golden Arrow groupset.
This Bianchi arrived at Steel Vintage Bikes in original, impeccable condition and underwent a complete check in our workshop. Cables, chain and bar tape have been replaced, and to make even more suitable for Eroica events, our mechanics went for a 27T rear cassette and new Panaracer Pasela PT 23/622 tires with anti-puncture protection.
Impeccable condition. A vintage Eroica bike without compromises!
