This Bianchi Reparto Corse marks the pinnacle of Bianchi design, as ridden by the Piaggio cycling team of the period 1980-1984. 'Reparto Corse' refers to the racing division of Bianchi's headquarters, a team of designers and frame-builders who would invest countless hours into creating the fastest, finest and lightest bicycles in the world. Therefore, the model you see here is a very rare breed.

The proof for being produced by the Reparto Corse division comes from the pantographed 'B' on the lugs, the lack of chromed stays - a typical feature of production Bianchi's Reparto Corse exemplars - and the unique cut-out under the bottom bracket. According to the "84 number" engraved on the seat lug, we have dated this particular frame to 1984.
