Description

Bianchi Specialissima X4 Classic Bicycle from late 80s. Probably one of the finest and most beautiful steel racing bicycles ever produced, the Specialissima X4 is a limited edition of the famous Bianchi Specialissima model. Bianchi produced the Specialissima X4 for six years between 1986 and 1991, as a development of the "Centenario 1985" model.

This exemplar has been fully restored and professionally repainted in the "Celeste Bianchi" and dates back approximately to 1987, as well as the Campagnolo C-Record groupset. The frame (serial no. D054) is made of superb Columbus SLX tubes and shows an iconic blade-shaped fork and rear triangle.

Beside that, the main features of this Bianchi Specialissima X4 are:

  • the rounded style top eye joint with the pantographed writing “Bianchi” in a gold coloured paint
  • the brake bridge with the pantographed writing "X4" on the right side
  • the internally routed rear derailleur cable
  • the engraved head tube
As for the components, the bicycle is fully equipped with a Campagnolo C-Record groupset from 1987 and with the iconic Delta Brakes.

For true connoisseurs: a bicycle to enrich any collection!
