Description
Bianchi Ti Megatube Titanium Racing Bicycle from the 1990s. Released in 1996, the Bianchi Ti Megatubo was the very first titanium bicycle ever manufactured by the Bianchi Reparto Corse (Bianchi Racing Division).
This bicycle is a product of long research and material testings by Bianchi lab and was designed and developed to meet the high expectations in professional racing. Handmade in Italy, the frame is made of different titanium tubing specifically developed by the Reparto Corse for this project. As for the seat and top tubes, a double butted titanium tubing (Bianchi Reparto Corse 3AL - 2.5V), while the downtube consists of an oversize aero-tube to dampen titanium's inherent flex (Bianchi Reparto Corse Mega Set). Together with a steel unicrown fork, the result is a stiff yet comfortable ride.
According to the steel fork, this model approximately dates back to 1996 and is fully equipped with a Campagnolo Record set with the exemption of the Gipiemme Parade wheelset.
An iconic racing machine in the very typical Bianchi celeste color. Highly collectible and ready for the take off!
