Description

Since 1972, framesets by Brian Rourke have been hand made in Stoke on Trent, England. They are widely acknowledged to be some of the best frame builders when it comes to made to measure racing frames. Numerous victories have been achieved on a Rourke bike, including World and National titles. More recently, Isle of Man TT legend Guy Martin was triumphant achieving a new British cycle speed record of 112.94mph while riding a Rourke frame.

The typical mark on a Rourke frame have been - and still are today - the wrap-around seat stays. Like on our Brian Rourke Classic Eroica Bike from the 1980s, they are gently and perfectly swung around the seat lug and then brazed in place. The paintjob with its contrasting outlined lugs highlights these details very well.

A frame of such quality deserves a great groupset which in this case is a Campagnolo Record one. To be precise, it is a Nuovo Record, and its elegant simplicity gives this Rourke the finishing touch.
A beautiful 1980s road bike, ready for racing.

Since it has been thoroughly checked in our workshop, you could just mount it and start into a new adventure.
Will it be a weekend ride to unknown places? Will it be a historic bike race? - Get it and find out yourself!
