Brunetti is the name of a bike shop in Rome, which, like many other good shops, marketed also a shop brand. Originally the frames of these bikes often came from very famous manufactures and were built up as prestigious rides with the best parts available.
Our Brunetti Roma Super Record Classic Racing Bike from 1983 is exactly such a bike. The Frame which consists of Columbus SL tubes is very well made and even shows some nice detailed engraving on the sloping fork crown, the head tube and the seat stays. The rear braking cable is routed internally and the headlugs are chromed.
From the way it is built and its sheer quality, the frame reminds of Patelli from Bologna. Such a frame deserves nothing else than the best parts available. In 1983 that meant a complete Campagnolo Super Record groupset.
