Description
Founded in 1920 in Monza, Italy, the Family Casati has served generations of cyclists with their craftsmanship, their passion and their technical expertise. Bikes which left the Casati factory were always recognized for the greatest accuracy and attention to detail.
And this Casati Duo Neo-Retro Bicycle is one of the fine examples. The frame has been made of race-ready oversized Columbus Thron tubes jointed with lugs the classic way. Even some very classy chrome found its way to the front lugs and the rear stays.
The frame has been combined with a typical chromed unicrown fork. This makes for a very strong base, which was perfect for building a classy looking yet technically advanced racing bicycle!
We equipped the Duo with an all new Campagnolo's Centaur 11-Speed groupset. For the Cockpit we chose Deda Speciale drop bars with Cinelli's 1A stem. The wheels cannot be anything else then Campagnolo, off course. This time it is the Calima wheelset.
This petrol-blue colored racer, painted by the master Carlo Dossena, is suitable for fast rides as well as for longer tours.
And with the compact crankset and a 32t cassette, you will storm over even the steepest of climbs with an ease unknown before to riders of classic steel road bikes.
Classic Performance Bike album revisited!
