Description
"Our mission is building the perfect bicycle both for the professional and occasional cyclists". Founded in 1925 in Verona by Gelmino Chesini, Chesini has committed to provide cyclists with high-end racing bicycles ever since.
Being a rather small manufacturer, Chesini concentrated more on quality than on quantity. This can be easily recognised in their frames which illustrate a rigorous attention to detail: fine engraved details and cut-outs which made Chesini frames well-known worldwide.
This Chesini Gran Premio is one of those 1970s builds and perfectly illustrates the Chesini style. Engravings and cutouts are indicators of fine and meticulous craftsmanship.
The lugged frame is made of quality steel tubes, shows fine details like an internal brake cable routing and is equipped with all-Italian parts. Campagnolo drivetrain and shifting, Universal brakes and Miche hubs.
Furthermore, the frame is in its original condition!
