Description

Gelmino Chesini founded the Chesini brand in 1925 in Nesente on the outskirts of Verona, later he moved to central Verona where the business remains today. A brand that has always focused on quality rather than quantity, each frame and part are their own works of art, with exquisite detailing, pantograph and craftsmanship. And they ride well too.

Our 1980s Chesini Precision is in very good condition and displays many of the classic Chesini elements. In frame is constructed with a custom mix of Columbus tubes , resulting in a sturdy yet still lightweight frame with excellent handling. The bike is fitted with a Campagnolo Super Record, the best racing level groupset you could get back then. Our exemplar is furthermore adorned with fine pantographes, as you can see on the stem, seatpost or the black chainring. Tru to the "aero" nature of our early 80s machine, the beautifully milled shifters are positioned on top of the downtube. And off course the cables are routed inside of the frame, which is particularly striking in case of the shifting cables. To guide them, the bottom bracket is equipped with a special aluminium sleeve.

The wheels are fully in charge of the French specialist Mavic and who has ever spinned these hubs can say how smooth and pleasant they are. The GP4 rims are then fitted with brand new handmade tyres.

The bike has been fully checked by our mechanics and is ready for a ride.
