Description
"Our mission is building the perfect bicycle both for the professional and occasional cyclists". Founded in 1925 in Verona (Italy) by Gelmino Chesini, Chesini has committed to provide cyclists with high-end racing bicycles ever since.
Being a rather small manufacturer, Chesini concentrated more on quality than on quantity. This can be easily recognised in their 1970s frames which illustrated a rigorous attention to detail: fine engraved details and cut-outs which made Chesini frames well-known worldwide.
This Chesini Super Special Corsa is one of those 1970s builds and perfectly illustrates the Chesini panache at its best. The refined engravings and cutouts are indicators of fine and meticulous craftsmanship. Rather rare are the early star shaped cutouts, which were only used for a short time in the 1970s.
Still in original condition with original paintwork and decals, this Columbus SL frameset is fully equipped with a top-class Campagnolo Record groupset, including a beautiful first generation rear derailleur!
The bike has been completely checked in our workshop by our mechanics: ready to ride.
Moreover, this Chesini meets all requirements to take part in Eroica events worldwide and is perfect to make your adventure as memorable as possible.
A genuine Italian steel bike.
