Description

"Our mission is building the perfect bicycle both for the professional and occasional cyclists". Founded in 1925 in Verona (Italy) by Gelmino Chesini, Chesini has committed to provide cyclists with high-end racing bicycles ever since.
Being a rather small manufacturer, Chesini concentrated more on quality than on quantity. This can be easily recognised in their frames and parts which illustrated a rigorous attention to detail: fine engraved details and cut-outs which made Chesini bikes well-known worldwide. Three consecutive amateur world championships in the 1960s helped as well to grow their fame.

This Chesini X-Uno is their top model during the second half of the 1980s and shows the typical Chesini-finesse. The refined internal cable routings, engravings and cutouts are indicators of precise and meticulous craftsmanship.
To find the perfect tubing, the decision was made to use a custom mix of Columbus SLX and SPX tubes. Thus a maximum strength to weight ratio was achieved, making the frame one of the most precisely handling you could find in the 1980s.
Still in nice original condition with original translucent paintwork and decals, the frameset has been fully equipped with a top-class Campagnolo Record groupset.
But the groupset is not a normal one: numerous pantographs, millings and special black anodizing have transformed it to a stunning set of jewellery.
If attention to detail has ever been paramount to a bicycle company, then to Chesini.

The bike has been completely checked in our workshop by our mechanics: ready to ride.
Moreover, this Chesini meets all requirements to take part in Eroica events worldwide and is perfect to make your adventure as memorable as possible.
