Description

In the late 1980s, the bicycle industry felt the need to change their products a bit to reach out to a fashion-aware, demanding young customer group. The old designs did not appeal anymore to those young urban cyclists. At the same time fresh new designs were introduced through the mountain bike boom and the road bike sections were under pressure to hold pace with this development.

Cinelli responded by coming up with a model which could not deny its kinship with their top model, the Super Corsa. Offering practically the same frame, the Cinelli Advantage Pro came in a colour scheme which had been unseen on a Cinelli before. The Columbus SLX frame was tainted in a modest grey, which was contrasted by small fuchsia accents and a bold top tube in the same hue.

The Advantage Pro which we present here has been consequently equipped with the top groupset of them all: The Campagnolo C-Record. On the top of it, there are the rare Campagnolo Cobalto brakes or Cinelli Volare SLX saddle.

We are happy to present this authentic late 1980s bicycle to you.
