Description
Cino Cinelli was one of the most influential figures when it comes to bicycle and component design in the second half of the 20th century.
When the former cycling ace started to develop his own parts and frames, he soon gained a reputation for being a master of industrial design. Numerous medals, titles and championships have been won, using his models.
In the 1960s Cinelli equipped several Olympic teams with track bikes, which gave the Pista section of his manufacture the aura of making the best machines possible.
The fact that Cino insisted on building frames strictly inhouse thus limiting the production scales significantly, only added to the impression the Cinelli bikes being the 'Rolls Royce of sports bicycles'.
Our track bike stems from early 1970s, when Cinelli cockpits were ubiquitous on top class racing machines around the world, and his track bikes were the sensation of the Olympic games.
This rare piece comes with Campagnolo Record Pista parts and - of course - Cinelli stem, handlebar and original Cinelli Unicanitor saddle.
