Description
The Cinelli Supercorsa is certainly one of the most legendary racing bicycles ever. Launched around 1950, the Modello SC - which was later called Speciale Corsa then Super Corsa and finally Supercorsa - has always been the top model of Cinelli, even after the brand was sold to the Colombo family in 1978.
The Cinelli Supercorsa perfectly embodies the essence of the Italian cycling industry and has become a trademark of design trough the decades: clean, simple and terrifically captivating. To no surprise Steve Jobs used to ride a Cinelli Supercorsa, too.
The frame of our Cinelli Supercorsa, which stems from the 1990s has been built of Columbus SLX "NEW" tubes and it still has the original Ferrari Rosso paintjob. It then received a Campagnolo Chorus 8-speed groupset with Ergopower shifters. Then there are the Campagnolo rims and the cockpit cannot be anything else than Cinelli, of course. The top level Vittoria Open Corsa Evo CX tires are the finishing touch.
This bicycle is a treat to ride and look at. Great choice for someone, who wants to feel the pleasure of riding a legendary steel frame with components, which work so well even by today's standards.
