Cinelli S.C. Super Corsa Classic Bike 1960s

The Cinelli S.C. is certainly one of the most legendary racing bicycles ever.
Launched around 1950, the Modello S.C. - Super Corsa which was called Speciale Corsa for a brief period and finally Supercorsa - has been the top model of Cinelli for decades, even after the brand was sold to the Colombo family in 1978.

Cinelli Super Corsa has always been a very prestigious model for customers but also for the frame builder and those who were in charge of the Cinelli's flagship were the very best.

The first Cinelli Super Corsas were build by Luigi Valsassina, who also created frames for Fausto Coppi, when he rode in team Bianchi. Valsassina was a true master and the quality of his work is undeniable, just as our bike shows.

This Cinelli S.C. Supercorsa stems from the early 1960, featuring the oil port and drainage hole in the bottom bracket. It sports the trade mark Supercorsa details like the fast-back seat stay bolt, pointy chromed lugs or the fully sloping fork crown as well, off course. It has been refurbished and received the wine-red colored paintjob.

Cinelli Supercorsa frames perfectly embodies the essence of the Italian cycling manufactory and has become a benchmark of design through the decades: clean, simple and terrifically captivating.
On top it was one of the most winning bike models, especially during the 1960s.

It has been equipped with Campagnolo Record and Nuovo Record parts with high flange hubs, Cinelli cockpit and Cinelli Unicanitor saddle.
