Description
Cinelli Super Corsa classic bicycle from the 1960. The Cinelli Super Corsa is definitely a bicycle which every cycling enthusiast has always dreamed (Steve Jobs also owned a Cinelli Super Corsa he bought in the 1980s in Milan).
Launched in 1947, the SC has been the top model of Cinelli since ever, also when the brand has been sold to the Colombo family in 1978.
This Cinelli Super Corsa is a very rare and hard to find model from the 1960s in a very elegant light champagne-silver color. The brazed on cable guides, shifter sockets and the filed-off eyelets on the dropouts are clear indicators that this frame got at least one rework to modernize an otherwise perfectly fine frame. The braze-ons and the paintwork seem to be from the 1970s. A second cosmetic change was made in the early to mid 1980s when original Cinelli decals were put to the frame.
Regarding the components, the bicycle is equipped with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset, Universal brakes and Nisi tubular rims.
