Description
The Cinelli S.C. is certainly one of the most legendary racing bicycles ever.
Launched around 1950, the Modello S.C., Super Corsa, Speciale Corsa for a brief period and finally Cinelli Supercorsa - has been the top model of Cinelli for decades, and continued to be just that after the brand was sold to the Colombo family in 1978.
The Cinelli Supercorsa perfectly embodies the essence of the Italian cycling manufacturing and has become a benchmark of design through the decades: clean, simple and terrifically captivating.
Our Cinelli Supercorsa is a special one. It is one of the very last frames manufactured with the typical details like the lugs with 3 dots and the classic Cinelli 26.2 mm seatpost. At the same time it already sports the new Cinelli "winged" logo, which was introduced in 1979. You will find it on the brake bridge and also on the decals. The shifting cables are still routed on top of the bottom bracket though.
You will find this bike equipped with Campagnolo Super Record parts, mostly from the year 1980. Quite a few Cinelli parts found the way onto this bike too, like the Cinelli cockpit with a 1R stem and the Cinelli Unicanitor suede leather saddle.
Some fine details, like a custom geometry with a slightly shorter top tube and custom formed and polished shifting levers make this bike even more interesting.
This special Supercorsa is ready to be ridden or to enrich a classic bicycle collection.
