Colnago Ferrari 60th Anniversary Road Bicycle 2008

The cooperation of two iconic Italian brands is well known. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first car with the prancing horse on the bonnet which left the factory in Maranello, Ernesto Colnago issued a very special edition of carbon road bike. There were two editions of these in 2007 and 2008 and just limited number of 60 and 199 respectively have been made. Almost all of them are being kept in private collections, but now you have the chance to make it a part of your own one.

Based on C50 model, this bike's core is the lugged carbon frame, which is completely made in Italy. Triple-butted, oversized tubing paired with reinforcing ribs on the tube interior offer remarkable stiffness and comfort at the same time. Other details like the bottom bracket shell made of CNC machined titanium make the bike a bit more special and also very light.

This Anniversary edition is an exhibition what was technically possible in the time. As so it is equipped with the very best another iconic Italian company had in offer - Campagnolo Super Record 11-speed. This gruppo utilizes carbon fiber generously, but it is not alone. The 60th Anniversary painted integrated cockpit, based on the FSA Plasma bars, Colnago oversized seatpost, Colnago Artemis deep profile wheelset, the Look Kéo Blade carbon pedals and even the Prologo minimalistic saddle are made of carbon as well.

This makes this bike very light. Exceptionally light. In fact it weights just 7.25 kg with pedals.
