Colnago Competition USA Road Bike 1990s

We are not sure what to call this bike. Is it a Colnago Competition USA? Is it a freedom bike?
Whatever the name, this bike comes from a time when there was a lot more appreciation for each other on both sides of the big pond.
In the US there were little thoughts about preventing European steel bikes from being imported and in Italy, painting a bicycle frame in stars and stripes was not seen as something possibly bewildering.

From this utterly optimistic era, the 1990s comes our Colnago competition.

The frame is made from lugged steel tubing, much like the classic Campagnolo Superissimo bikes, just that the tubes are slightly oversized, thus stronger at the same weight. The framebuilding was executed perfectly and the paintjob only is the icing on this cake.

As for the parts, nothing else than a complete Campagnolo groupset was good enough. Here it comes in a variation Top Class Campagnolo Record and Campagnolo Chorus parts, which allow you to give all kinds of rides a go - you can simply rely on top class componentry.

We think riding this Colnago might be the best way to make America great again. It is about time you are having a smile when thinking about the US. Well you will have to, everytime you ride this sweet bike!
