Description
One of the most iconic bikes which left the famous factory in Cavenago (Milan, Italy), the Colnago Mexico was produced to celebrate the 1972 Eddy Merckx world hour record. The Colnago Mexico was slightly different from the Colnago Super - built with even thinner Columbus tubes - but shared with that glorious bike the aggressive racing geometry: short, light and very stiff.
The next step in its evolution became the Colnago Nuovo Mexico which was first released in 1982 and immediately ridden to victory by Giuseppe Saronni in the 1982 World Championships. It was built with profiled Columbus KL lightweight tubes with distinctive crimps on top and down tube.
Our Colnago Nuovo Mexico Cromato dates to 1980s and it has been fully refurbished. It is not just the stunning chrome finish what sets our Colnago apart though. The components are equally stunning. The complete Campagnolo Super Record groupset and the 3ttt cockpit sport many pantographeas and fine milling, that it blow one's mind. Almost anything has been left untouched and so you can find them on:
