Description
The Colnago CT1 Titanio has been introduced in the 2000s as a high-end model of Colnago titanium line. Its peculiarity is the main triangle made of titanium, while the fork and rear triangle are made of carbon fiber. The result is a stiff and light frame, yet very comfortable. The design and manufacturing process of titanium frames was supervised for Colnago by Vidmantas Zukauskas, a master frame builder specialized in titanium welding.
And you can tell, checking the perfect welds on this Colnago. This CT1 Titanio is definitely a road bicycle for high-demanding riders.
The whole performance is supported by the best components of the time - Campagnolo Record 10-speed groupset, which combines aluminium, titanium and carbon elements with highest manufacturing standards which makes it not just light weight but also a treat to use. It is completed with wheelset with spotless Mavic Open Pro rims which turns around Extralight hubs.
This bike has been completely checked in our workshop and it is ready to roll. And it will be a treat to ride it regardless if on long tours for it's comfort or in the mountains because of the lightweight. The scales will show just below 8 kg...
