Description
Few bicycles have influenced the scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were heavy with long wheelbases, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since its launch, most racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This Colnago Super dates back to 1982. It still has everybody's favourite paintjob in Saronni red and looks magnificent. The bike is equipped with the best groupset Campagnolo had to offer. To be precise, it is the Campagnolo Super and Nuovov Record parts. Some of the parts have been Colnago pantographed which elevates this classic racer to even higher levels. Interesting detail certainly is the rare Record front derailleur with 4 holes and a slim clamping belt, produced just for one year.
The classic combination of the Super with Campagnolo components is vastly sought after for its appeal as well as its riding characteristics.
This Colnago Super is a great choice for vintage bike lovers. Suitable for any classic cycling event.
