Colnago Superissimo Tricolore Road Bike 1990s

Colnago Superissimo is, as the name suggests, an evolution of the legendary Super. It retain many of characteristics of the Super, but it was esthetically enhance by the chromed heat tube lugs and later the brake cable was also routed inside of the top tube. Superissimo model remained in the offer at least to 1996 and this one is one of these later models.

This Colnago Superissimo has been refurbished and it sports the green, white and red "tricolore" paintjob with the "retinato" pattern. The chroming has been redone as well and there is quite a lot of it. Not just the lugs or the chain stay, the iconic Colnago Precisa fork with straight blades is also freshly chromed.

Regarding the parts, it is equipped with the full Campagnolo Athena 8-speed groupset with the shifting operated from the brake levers. The ITM cockpit with the Colnago branding or the FIR Apollo wheelset finish this bike in the typical 90s style.

It went through a full check and service in our workshop and when needed, parts have been changed for brand new ones. Just like the chain, cables, housing, bartape or tyres.
