Description
By the end of the 90s, carbon frames took the flagship role in almost all major brands line ups and Colnago was no exception. That created a situation, that the prestigious brand from Cambiago offered frames made from three major materials at the same time. The top models from carbon fiber were already race proven. Then there were the lightweight aluminium frames, brought to perfection in the last years. And as the steel frames were also to have, as the true legacy of the brand.
This Colnago Dream is the one with an aluminium alloy frame perfected through the years. It is made of Columbus Altec2 tubing, which have the profiled and oversized cross sections with cigar shaped main tubes. The frame set is then completed with Colnago carbon fork made by French specialist Time.
This bike has it's original art-decor blue and white paint scheme. As for the parts, it has been equipped with a Campagnolo Chorus 9-speed groupset with shifters on the bars and Record hubs. The pantographed Campagnolo seatpost is the cherry on the top then.
A Colnago road bike from the late 90s for serious riding.
