Description
In the late 1980s Colnago experimented with extraordinary frame designs. One of them was the solution with double down tube, which is broadly known from the Carbitubo model. Originally it was made of an aluminium alloy. In the 1988, Colnago introduced this stunning frame where the aluminium tubes have been connected by the lugs from the material. But more importantly, the down tube has been replaced with two slightly thinner separate ones. This allowed according to Colnago for more stable and reactive frame. Nobody less than Giuseppe Saronni helped Colnago with this design, making it his very own advancement.
This Colnago Duall classic road bike has been equipped with nothing less than the Campagnolo Super Record groupset with 3ttt cockpit and Mavic rims.
A very special piece of Colnago history which doesn't appear often and which certainly is stunning.
