Released in the early 1990s, the Colnago Elegant was a top of the line model in Colnago catalog.
The frame is made of high-end Tange Prestige Competitions tubes in various thickness and braze-welded at low temperature. The fork has straight blades - as the famous Precisa fork released in 1989 - and is completely chromed, as the typical three-point lugs.
This Colnago Elegant is in original condition and shows an iconic "Decor" paintwork, very typical for 1990s Colnago's. The bicycle is fully equipped with a reliable and low-maintenance Shimano 600 groupset, a good compromise when it comes to functionality, reliability and durability.
