Description
Few bicycles have influenced the scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were comparably heavy with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance.
Since its launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This Colnago Super stems from the year 1977, featuring a beautiful chromed fork crown with two little triangles cut into the back. The bright green paintjob is also preserved in it's original condition, making the bike really authentic.
As for the components, you will find a complete Campagnolo Nuovo Record gruppo with few sweet extras. The shifting levers are skillfuly bent and the seatpost is partially milled and Colnago pantographed. Yaban Wind Tunnel chain is just a tiny cherry on the top.
Captivating Super in original condition, a combination which is getting progressivly rarer. Great choice for Colnago fans. It has been checked in our workshop and is ready to go! Suitable for any classic cycling event.
