Description
Few bicycles have influenced the cycling scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavy, with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a frameset which would become a legend of cycling history and one of the top models of his 1970s and 1980s catalogues – the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes, with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame, the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since the launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This particular "più" version is an evolution of the Super. The main difference being the rear brake cable routed inside the top tube. It still sports the original paintjob with the special net pattern called "retinato".
This bike is fitted with a Campagnolo Chorus groupset with an exemption of the wheelset, which turns around the top level C-Record hubs. The rest of the parts is equaly fine with 3ttt Colnago signature stem or Vetta leather saddle.
