When it comes to vintage bicycles, Colnago is one of the most iconic and most recognizable brands on the market. Colnago Master belongs to the so called "Designklassikern" of steel frames. With its star shaped tubes it offers the stiffness and comfort at the same time combined with the unique look.
Here we present you the second generation of Master, the Colnago Master Piu which differs from the first one with 130mm rear dropouts and inner tube braking cable guides. These two features make the Colnago Master Piu as the perfect frameset of choice for a so called Neo Retro Bicycle.
What is a Neo Retro Roadbike?
A Neo-Retro road bicycle has a classic steel frameset preferrably with a steel fork and a modern era groupset and wheels. This combination allows the rider to have the classic look of a steel frameset combined with the comfort of a modern groupset with the precise shifting, better ratio for climbs and modern brakes as well as stiffer wheelset.
Our Colnago Master Piu Neo Retro Bicycle
Here we present you this flamboyant Colnago Master Piu Neo Retro road bicycle with a brand new but already classic silver Campagnolo Centaur 11 speed groupset. The frameset has been fully checked and has its original paintwork and decals. All other parts are brand new.
This is the bicycle for all who want a unique and fast but comfy road bike that is keeping its value over decades and still will be fun to ride in 10, 20 or maybe even 30 years. Good for climbs, for speed but also for relaxed group rides on the weekends.
Condition
Used. The bicycle is in great condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintjob has been professionally refurbished and thus in top shape. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and wearing parts were replaced with new ones. You can expect the bicycle in fantastic riding condition and ready to go for your vintage bike ride.Size Information
