Description
The Colnago Master model line is undoubtedly an evergreen of cycling history. First released in 1983, five different versions of the Colnago Master were manufactured until 1998 (the Master, Master Più, Master Olympic, Master Light and Master X-Light).
Thanks to this superb frame, the Italian brand achieved a peak of steel frame design, but at the same time, the Master series also represents the end of the steel era in the bicycle industry.
The Master Olympic shares with its predecessors the famous crimped tubing, originally designed by Gilberto Colombo to make the frame stiffer and more reactive. The Olympic distinguished itself for very eye-catching paint schemes, especially the famous Art Decor pattern.
This model is a Colnago Master Olympic in a well preserved, original paint scheme, constructed with classic Profilo S4 tubes. Components are, of course, completely Campagnolo.
The setup with a triple chainset makes climbing the steepest hills rather easy and you could even ride this steel bike at L'Eroica, since the cable routing and non indexed shifting make this Colnago compliant to the rules.
A beautiful flamboyant bicycle which will turn the toughest ride into a pleasure cruise.
