Description

The Colnago Master model line is undoubtedly the evergreen of cycling history. First released in the mid 1980s, five different versions of the Colnago Master were introduced until 1998 ( the Master, Master Più, Master Olympic, Master Light, and Master X-Light).

Thanks to these superb frames, the Italian brand achieved a peak of steel frame design, but on the other hand, the Master also represented the interim end of the steel era in the bicycle industry.

Introduced in 1991, the Master Olympic shares with its predecessors the famous profiled tubes, originally designed by Gilberto Colombo to make the frame stiffer and more reactive. The Olympic distinguished itself for slightly oversized tubes and very eye-catching paint schemes, especially the famous Art Decor pattern.

Our model is such a Colnago Master Olympic and it comes in the flamboyant paint scheme of the Team Lampre-Panaria. The frame is, of course, constructed by using the oversize Gilco design Columbus tubing.
As for the components, a complete Campagnolo C-Record groupset of the last generation was installed
Even a pair of the then extremely expensive Campagnolo Shamal wheels were put to use!

Talking about its condition: This Master Olympic has not seen much use. A proper time capsule with positive 1990s spirit galore!

Top quality, top looks, top performance.

A bike like no other!
