Description
Here we present a wonderful an flamboyant Colnago Master Più from the year 1990.
The Master Più, introduced in 1988, is the link between the Colnago Master and the Master Olympic from 1991. It differs from its predecessor, Colnago Master, by an internal cable routing and a slightly different lug design. It shares its geometry and the famous profiled tubes. The special diamond shaped tubes were an invention of Gilberto Colombo who also improved racing cars with his ideas of profiling steel to enhance its characteristics. To honor him this tubing was called GilCo tubing.
The lugs which are connecting the head tube with the rest of the front triangle have three tips; something we will later find on the Master Olympic, too.
Since it is a real 1990 cracker, there can be no other groupset on this bike than a Campagnolo C-Record with the iconic delta brakes. Something extra special is the rarest Mavic headset.
To sum it up: This bike is gorgeous and a technical masterpiece, too. A piece of recent history.
