Description
First introduced in 1983 as an evolution of the Colnago Mexico, the Master is instantly recognizable by the crimped top tube known as Columbus Profilo S4. These ultra rigid tube shapes were the brainchild of Gilberto Colombo, who drew from his experience in the automotive racing world to deliver a design that was dedicated to one thing, Speed. Just a few years later it was followed by the Master Più.
When it was launched in 1987, the Colnago Master Più was basically meant to be an improvement of the Master, from which it differs for the internally routed rear brake cable and for three-pointed lugs.
Our Colnago Master Più illustrates the typical "Master galore" and is fully equipped with a top class Campagnolo C-Record groupset with iconic C-Record Delta brakes.
On top there is the 'Decor' paintjob which became the distinctive sign of any Colnago from the late 1980s on. Almost any colour combination could be ordered and the painting was executed by a crew who were widely acknowledged to be maybe the best frame painters in the world.
If you want to go fast on a real classic steel bike and look incredibly cool while doing so, this Master Più will definitely help.
