Description
The Colnago Master is undoubtedly the evergreen of the cycling history. First released in 1983, five different versions of the Colnago Master were manufactured until 1998 ( the Master 1983, Master Più 1987, Master Olympic 1991, Master Light 1994 and Master X-Light 1998).
The Master series undoubtedly represents a peak in steel frame manufacturing, but on the other hand, also marks the end of the steel era in the bicycle industry.
Released in 1987, the Master Più shares with its predecessors the famous Columbus Gilco crimped tubing – specifically designed by Gilberto Colombo to improve stiffness and withstand mechanical strain – but it differs for other details, such as the internally routed brake cable or three-pointed headlugs.
This particular Colnago Master Più is fitted with the then brand new Colnago Precisia straight bladed fork, a feature of the last Master Più model year. As for the components, nothing but the best fits this bike - Campagnolo C-Record gruppo with the iconic Delta brakes. And the rest doens't fall behind like for example the NOS Campagnolo rims.
Elegant and captivating.
