Description

Few bicycles have influenced the cycling scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavy, with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a frameset which would become a legend of cycling history and one of the top models of his 1970s and 1980s catalogues – the Super.

Made of Columbus SL steel tubes, with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame, the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since the launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.

This particular Colnago Super Road Bike comes from the year 1974. The frame has been refurbished and received a deep blue paintjob. It is equipped with Campagnolo Nuovo and Super Record parts and some of them have been also Colnago pantographed. It is then completed with a Cinelli cockpit, Mavic SSC rims or NOS Larcia leather saddle.

his Colnago is a great choice for vintage bike lovers. It has been checked in our workshop and is ready to go! Suitable for any classic cycling event.
