Description
Colnago Mexico Classic Bicycle from the 1980s. Colnago started producing the Mexico model for celebrating Eddy Merckx world hour record in 1972. The Colnago Mexico was slightly different from the Colnago Super and built with thinner Columbus tubes. Its evolution became the Nuovo Mexico released in 1982, which was built with profiled Columbus SL tubes.
This Colnago Mexico dates back approximately to 1981 and is fully equipped with a Campagnolo Super Record groupset (rear derailleur pat. 1981). A true classic which shows refined pantographed details, as the chainring and the stem. Beside that, the frame has been completely restored by the previous owner and is in really good condition. Did you take a close look at the stunning paintjob in the iconic "Saronni Red"?
A classic bicycle for all Colnago´s fans!
