Description
One of the most iconic bikes which left the famous factory in Cavenago (Milan, Italy), the Colnago Mexico was produced to celebrate 1972 Eddy Merckx world hour record. The Colnago Mexico was slightly different from the Colnago Super - built with thinner Columbus tubes - but shared with that glorious bike the aggressive racing geometry: short, light and very stiff! Its evolution became the Nuovo Mexico released in 1982, which was built with profiled Columbus SL tubes.
This Colnago Mexico has been professionally refurbished and impeccably shows an elegant paintwork which, together with a Campagnolo Super Record groupset, makes this bike a true gem of classic cycling. Beside that, you will also find fine NOS Galli clincher rims and a Campagnolo freewheel.
Refurbished, checked and adjusted: ready to be ridden at the next Eroica! Suitable for all Colnago fans!
