Few bicycles have influenced the cycling scene as much as the Colnago Super.
At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavy, with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a frameset which would become a legend of cycling history and one of the top models of his 1970s and 1980s catalogues – the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes, with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame, the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since the launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by its design.
This particular Colnago Super dates back to mid 1980s and is one of the last classic versions of this bike. That shows also in the equipment and you will find a complete Campagnolo Super Record groupset in it's second generation with non-fluted cranks, seatpost and special brakes. Besides that, there is a sweet wheelset with mint Mavic Open 4CD rims, Turbo leather saddle or a 3ttt cockpit.
Colour-wise the bike still shows its original paintjob with a white and blue pattern used by Colnago mainly around 1985 and 1986.
Iconic.
