Description
One of the most iconic bikes which left the famous factory in Cavenago (Milan, Italy), the Colnago Mexico was produced to celebrate the 1972 Eddy Merckx world hour record. The Colnago Mexico was slightly different from the Colnago Super - built with even thinner Columbus tubes - but shared with that glorious bike the aggressive racing geometry: short, light and very stiff.
This particular Colnago Nuovo Mexico Profil dates back to 1984 and belongs to the third Mexico series, with two crimps at the top tube and four at the down tube. The Columbus SL frameset is fully fitted with a Campagnolo Super Record Gruppo.
A vintage bicycle with racing pedigree and heritage, suitable for classic cycling events.
