Description

Few bicycles have influenced the scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were comparably heavy with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.

Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance.
Since its launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.

This Colnago Super stems from the year 1977, featuring a beautiful chromed fork crown with two little triangles cut into the back. The paintjob has been refurbished and therefore it is in great condition.

The components are a real treat here. Its is fully equipped with Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset from the correct period. Not just period, a year to be precise - the crank and rear derailleur carry a Campagnolo stamp from 1977.

But this gruppo is then brought to another level with the beautiful Colnago pantographed parts.

Checked in our workshop in Berlin, this bike is ready to go. Suitable for classic cycling events as well.
