Description
Few bicycles have influenced the cycling industry as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavy with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and his signature model for more than a decade - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since its launch, many racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This Colnago Super dates back to the 1970s – approx. 1973. It features all the typical Super details of the era, but it has something more. The fork is fully chromed instead of the customary painted blades and the whole rear stays are chromed as well. Onother optioanl extra are the three top tube guides insted of standard two.
The bike is equipped with the best groupset Campagnolo had to offer. To be precise, it sports a Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset with 3ttt cockpit, Ambrosio rims and an NOS Larcia suede leather saddle.
This Colnago is a great choice for cycling enthusiasts, especially those whose hearts beat for masterpieces from the golden age of cycling.
It has been checked and serviced in our workshop and is ready to go!
