Description

Few bicycles have influenced the cycling industry as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were heavy, with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.

Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since its launch, most racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.

This Colnago Super dates back to 1971 and has been professionally restored. As for the frameset, we partnered with an Italian bicycle restorer who masterly repainted and refinished the paintwork with appropriate decals and details.

As for the components, the original Campagnolo Record parts from 1971 have been fully serviced in our workshop in Berlin. Our expert mechanic brought this Colnago Super to its former glory by thoroughly cleaning, oiling and adjusting every single screw and by newly lacing the Mavic rims on polished Campagnolo Record high-flange hubs. This means that this Colnago Super is really in excellent condition and impeccable in every single detail. Cinelli Unicanitor saddle, stem and bars complete this perfect 70s build.

The right choice for all Colnago lovers. Suitable for Eroica events.
