Description
Few bicycles have influenced the cycling industry as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavyweight and long, Ernesto Colnago released in 1968 a bicycle which would become a legend of the cycling history and the top model of his 1970s' line. Made of Columbus SL steel tubes, with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame, the Colnago Super was - and actually is - a high-performing bicycle. Since its launch, all racing bicycle have been built with the Super geometry.
This Colnago Super dates back to 1983 and arrived at Steel Vintage Bikes in original and impeccable condition. Beside showing a very typical red paintwork in original condition - so called "Saronni red" - this bike is equipped with appropriate era Campagnolo components with really fine pantographed details (Campagnolo Super Record pat. 83) and with an original Almarc leather cover stitched on 3ttt bars.
Completely checked and adjusted in our workshop, cables and tires have been replaced. This Colnago Super is waiting to be ridden at the next Eroica events!
For true Colnago fans!
