Description

Few bicycles have influenced the scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were comparably heavy with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.

Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance.
Since its launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.

This Colnago Super stems from the year 1977, featuring a beautiful chromed fork crown with two little triangles cut into the back. The frame has been professionally refurbished and it looks really elegant in the champain color paintjob.
As for the components, you will find Campagnolo Record and Super Record parts. That includes also the valuable Super Record rear derailleur of the 1st generation from 1977. And if that wouldn't be enough, well there is more. Crank, chainring, stem and the seatpost have been pantographed by Colnago.

A stunning bicycle which won't dissapoint any true Colnago lover. Eroica appropriate.
