Description
Few bicycles have influenced the cycling industry as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were heavy with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since its launch, most racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This Colnago Super dates back to the 1970s and has been previously refurbished by the former owner who presumably decided to give the bike a racing – yet elegant – look by chroming the rear triangle and the fork.
Regarding the components, this bike is fitted with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record Gruppo including original Campagnolo Superleggeri pedals, Mavic SSC blue rims and 3ttt stem and bars.
The result is an elegant vintage bicycle which might be the right choice for your next Eroica adventure.
