Colnago Super Classic Bicycle from 1973. The story of the Colnago Super, certainly one of the most iconic classic bicycles ever built, began in 1968 in Cambiago, Italy. Back then, Ernesto Colnago designed and manufactured a bicycle which became a legend indeed. In the 1970s, the Colnago Super represented the top model of Ernesto Colnago's line and also the landmark for racing bicycles of its era. Made of technologically advanced Columbus SL steel tubes, with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame, the Colnago Super was, and actually is, really great to ride.
This exemplar dates back to 1973 and is fully equipped with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset, the best you could get back in those days. Not only the components, but also a shiny bold green paintwork really makes this Colnago Super an elegant classic road bicycle.
