Description
Few bicycles have influenced the scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles usually were a bit on the heavy side with a long wheelbase, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since its launch, most racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This Colnago Super dates back to 1973, with a blue paintjob in still good condition and the best groupset Campagnolo had to offer. To be precise, it has a Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset. (Technically the Super Record was introduced in 1973 but still had to prove its reliability.)
The classic combination of the Super with Campagnolo components is vastly sought after for its appeal as well as its riding characteristics.
Moreover, the parts on this bike are perfectly pantographed and branded. Even the saddle is a Colnago branded 3ttt model!
This Colnago Super is a great choice for vintage bike lovers and collectors. Suitable for any classic cycling event.
