Description
Few bicycles have influenced the cycling industry as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavy with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and his signature model for more than a decade - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since its launch, many racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This Colnago Super dates back to the mid 1980s and therefor is one of latest Super models. Certain details like the fork crown, the shifting cabele routing, the extra bottle holder bosses and a chainstay design which derived from the Mexico bikes makes it different from earlier Colnago Super frames.
But just like the others it is equipped with top class Campagnolo parts. In this case it is a nice pantographed Campagnolo Super Record groupset.
Together with the frame, Campagnolo's top of the line parts create an excellent classic road bike with all the Italian style you are looking for
Suitable for Eroica events.
