Description
Few bicycles have influenced the scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were heavy with long wheelbases, Ernesto Colnago released a bicycle which would become a legend of cycling history and the top model of his 1970s catalogue - the Super.
Made of Columbus SL steel tubes - with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame - the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since its launch, most racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.
This Colnago Super dates back to 1981. It still has its deep red metallic paintjob and looks magnificent. The bike is equipped with the best groupset Campagnolo had to offer. To be precise, it is the Campagnolo Super Record groupset. The classic combination of the Super with Campagnolo components is vastly sought after for its appeal as well as its riding characteristics.
Some small extras make this Colnago even more desirable, such as the aluminium freewheel and the Cinelli VIP leather covered handlebar!
This Colnago Super is a great choice for vintage bike lovers. Suitable for any classic cycling event.
