Description

Few bicycles have influenced the cycling scene as much as the Colnago Super. At a time when racing bicycles were averagely heavy, with long wheelbases and flat angles, Ernesto Colnago released a frameset which would become a legend of cycling history and one of the top models of his 1970s and 1980s catalogues – the Super.

Made of Columbus SL steel tubes, with a shorter, stiffer and lighter frame, the Colnago Super was designed for high-performance. Since the launch, uncountable racing bicycles have been built with a geometry inspired by the Super.

This particular Colnago Super dates back to 1983 and illustrates a typoical "Saronni" red paintwork in good, original condition. The bike underwent a complete service: all parts have been checked and adjusted to make sure it works as fine as it did back in the day. Bar tape, cables, Saddle chain and tires are new.

Regarding the components, this Colnago Super is fully fitted with premium parts: a Campagnolo Super Record Gruppo, FiR rims, 3ttt bars and stem and a San Marco saddle

Moreover the parts are delicately pantographed which turns our Colnago into a real showpiece.

Iconic. Approved for Eroica events worldwide.
